The heart of a sound water management program is developing the irrigation schedule. The type of irrigation, micro climates, soil conditions, and local Evapotranspiration Rates (ET) help determine how often irrigation is needed. The Frequency of irrigation is dependent upon the individual plants. We develop separate schedules for trees, shrubs and turf areas to maximize efficiency. Proper fertilization schedules, maintenance practices, visual observation, and schedule fine-tuning make up the balance of a comprehensive water management program.
